From April 13 to 15, 2026, the Reading Room of the Library and Information Center hosted Department Days for the Departments of Surgical and Orthopedic Dentistry and Therapeutic and Pediatric Dentistry.
The event gave faculty members an opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the latest publications relevant to their disciplines. As part of the program, a book exhibition and review display was organized, featuring more than 160 titles of scientific, educational, and reference literature in Kazakh and Russian, as well as specialized dental periodicals.
Particular interest was drawn to the updated electronic resources of the collection: participants learned about search opportunities in the electronic catalog and full-text databases. Library staff provided consultations and answered questions, helping faculty make more effective use of the resources of the Library and Information Center.
The event served as a useful platform for information exchange and contributed to enhancing the quality of the educational process.
